Education and Clinical Background

I earned my Master of Arts in School Psychology and Doctor of Psychology at Yeshiva University, Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. My graduate training spans the lifespan from early childhood through middle age, and I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, community outpatient centers, acute inpatient care, long-term residential, primary care, and other medical settings. I have received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD (ERP), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration (PHRI).

I completed my APA-accredited predoctoral internship at Elmhurst Hospital Center, an extremely diverse and culturally rich setting where I honed my skills in providing culturally sensitive care, crisis management, and psychiatric assessment. I moved on to complete my postdoctoral training in child and adolescent psychology at Zucker Hillside Hospital Northwell Health. While at Northwell, I continued my specialization in CBT, ERP, DBT, and TF-CBT in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Prior to starting my own private practice, I worked as a DBT clinician at the Center for Dialectical and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CCDBT). At CCDBT, I conducted diagnostic intake evaluations, actively engaged in peer consultation, conducted a training seminar in TF-CBT, provided individual CBT, DBT and trauma focused treatments as well as co-led DBT skills groups for adolescents and adults. I have also engaged in post-graduate training at Fluence, where I completed a certificate program in Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration (PHRI) and taken courses on mindfulness and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy(KAP).
